The City of Virginia Beach restricts the parking of commercial vehicles, recreational vehicles, and equipment in residential areas.
In observance of the Independence Day holiday, all City of Virginia Beach administrative offices will be closed on Friday, July 3. Please view the City's Independence Day operating schedule for more information.

City Code 16-41.1 – A "Commercial Vehicle" is defined as a loaded or empty motor vehicle, trailer, or semitrailer designed or regularly used for carrying freight, merchandise, or more than 10 passengers, including buses, but not school buses. Parking of a commercial vehicle in residential or apartment zoning districts shall be prohibited, except that:
City Code Section 16-41.2 – Major recreational equipment and non-commercial trailers parked or stored in residential areas are subject to the following limitations:
