Continuum of Care
Each year, $2 million is granted through the Continuum of Care to Virginia Beach agencies that provide housing and supportive services to people experiencing homelessness.
The Continuum of Care (CoC) grant application process is a consolidated community application coordinated by the BEACH CoC and submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) by Housing & Neighborhood Preservation.
The application provides detailed information regarding efforts the CoC has implemented to advance our work to prevent and end homelessness in Virginia Beach.
The FY 2026 CoC application and priority listing were submitted to HUD on Sept. 30, 2026. The application and priority listing are in the process of being formatted for the City's website.
